Meet The Artist - Lawrence Coulson

We are excited to announce that Lawrence Coulson will be making a personal appearance in the gallery on Sunday 3rd November between 12-3pm.

Lawrence will be available to chat and dedicate his brand new collection of signed limited edition and original artwork. 

For his new body of work, Lawrence has continued to be inspired by the Old Masters such as Turner and Friedrich. Building on his critically acclaimed collection, Romanticism, Lawrence has created pieces conveying the beauty and majesty of the British landscape.

We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Meet The Artist event with Bob Barker on Saturday. 

It was a fantastic turn out and a resounding success! We received great feedback and everyone thoroughly enjoyed meeting Bob.

We were able to gain a valuable insight into Bob Barker's themes, inspirations and painting techniques.

A special thanks of course to Bob! 

It was great to have so many of you with us and we hope you will join us again for our next event (details to follow).

We are extremely excited to welcome Bob and present his brand new collection Jumpers For Goalposts. 

We are also delighted to announce that Bob has created 3 original sketches and 2 original oils especially for the event with a Newcastle theme. 

Bob will be making himself available to chat and personally dedicate his brand new collection and hopefully letting us in on the secrets of his techniques, with a live painting!

Meet The Artist - Bob Barker

We are excited to announce that Bob Barker will be making an appearance in the gallery on Saturday 26th October between 1-4pm. 

Bob will be making himself available to chat and personally dedicate his brand new collection of limited edition and original artwork entitled Jumpers For Goalposts. We are hoping that Bob will also be doing a live painting whilst in the gallery which would be a fantastic opportunity to see him in action! 



Bob's art resonates with a great many of us, as he adeptly manages to convey the innocence of childhood through to the joie de vivre of adulthood. This collection is no exception; themed around Britain’s most popular sport, Barker takes us on a nostalgic journey beginning in the cobbled streets where children stage their very own Cup Finals each night after school.
