The Ronnie Wood ‘Raw Instinct’ collection comprises of original artwork, paintings, drawings, sketches, lyrics and other writings, hand-painted and embellished guitars as well as both unique and limited-edition prints. The works from this collection act as a pictorial biography of Ronnie Wood’s thrilling life experiences, guiding us through half a century’s worth of life and music from the perspective of an incredibly talented individual.

Before beginning his musical career Ronnie Wood received formal art training at Ealing College of Art, London.Throughout the years, the artist and the musician have been inseparable. As his musical career progressed, Ronnie continued his passion for painting and drawing; his subjects ranging from band members and musicians he admired, knew and sometimes played with, to family and close friends'.

It is as natural to find Ronnie with a pencil as with a guitar, drawing portraits of contemporaries and finding inspiration from his musical influences.

Here at Castle Fine Art Newcastle we are delighted to present to you a brand new body of work from the infamous Ronne Wood! These energetic and vibrant editions capture the thrill of a live performance and come in the year that the Stones celebrate fifty iconic years as one of the world’s most influential rock bands, The Rolling Stones.


Each one of these pieces is available in either boxed canvas or paper format and are an instant collector’s items. Each piece is hand signed by Ronnie Wood and come with a certificate of authenticity. These pieces are editions of 125 and 195 so they will not be available for very long.

This new body of work will be on display in the gallery from next weekend should you wish to come to the gallery to view them in the flesh. All pieces can be reserved with a 25% deposit which is fully refundable should you change your mind at a later date, A deposit merely allows me to reserve a piece exclusively for you and means that you do not have to worry about missing out on this wonderful opportunity as we are expecting these pieces to be snapped up very quickly.

It is with great pleasure here at Castle Galleries Newcastle that we are able to give you a sneak preview of the brand new 'Live Studies' collection of limited edition art by Ronnie Wood.

Following the fantastic success of the first release of work by Ronnie Wood, we are delighted to present to you here a first look at the new body of work before the official release in April. This new series of work is available as a suite of four intricate pen and ink drawings, by Ronnie, which coincides with the 35 year anniversary of his meteoric musical career.

These pieces take inspiration from artists such as Matisse, Van Gogh and Picasso, which is seen through these energentic line drawings. The washes of colour add movement to the work encompassing the swagger of Mick Jagger against the laid back demeanor of Charlie Watts.

It is with great excitement that Castle Galleries Newcastle present a collection of limited edition art work created and signed by rock icon Ronnie Wood.
Every so often each century, time draws out and seals a place in the history books for the creative geniuses in our midst and Ronnie Wood is one such outstanding artistic talent. He picked up a paintbrush way before he picked up a guitar and began his life long journey with art almost as soon as he could hold a pencil. This innate artistic pulse that ran through Wood’s veins evolved and grew into a five decade love affair with canvas, which has seen Wood constantly seeking, evolving and pushing back the boundaries in his art.
